  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 ripe medium bananas peeled
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 stick unsalted butter room temperature
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter unsalted
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and cinnamon. Whisk all together.
  • In a medium bowl, mash banana with a fork.
  • Then add egg, butter, peanut butter, milk and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the mixture in the flour bowl. Whisk all together.
  • Transfer in the loaf pan. *you can top with more bananas and chocolate chips.
  • Bake in the middle of the oven for 60 minutes. Check readiness by inserting a skewer or a toothpick in the middle of the loaf. If it comes out clean, it is done. If it comes out a bit gummy then it needs a bit more time.
  • Remove and allow to cool down before cutting.
