This apple pull apart bread is comfort food in a bite! Pillowy soft balls of bread are coated in an apple butter, cinnamon mix and baked to perfection.

  • 3 ½ Cups flour
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 Tsps instant dry yeast
  • ¾ Cup milk warm
  • ¼ Cup butter melted
  • 1 Egg
  • For the filling:
  • ¼ Cup apple butter
  • ¾ Cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • For the glaze:
  • ½ Cup confectioners sugar
  • 3 Tbsp heavy cream


  • In a bowl combine the flour with the sugar, dry yeast, and salt. Add the egg, melted butter and milk and stir to combine. Knead for around 2 minutes and cover. Let it rise for around 40 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl combine the apple butter with the brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
  • Divide the dough into 30 equal pieces and shape into a ball. Coat with the apple butter mix and transfer to the prepared pan. Repeat the process with the rest of the dough.
  • Take to the oven and bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until done. Remove from the oven and let it cool down before glazing.
  • Prepare the glaze: In a bowl whisk together confectioners sugar with heavy cream. Drizzle over the cooled down pull apart loaf.
