Instructions
Thaw pastry
Pre heat oven at 400 F
Break egg and place in a small bowl then whisk with a fork. Add water and whisk
Using a sharp knife or a pastry/pizza wheel, cut pastry into 9 squares of about 4".
Taking one square at a time, place pastry squares on baking paper squares.
Brush edges with egg wash
Place about 1/2 tsp Nutella in the middle of the pastry square.
Top off Nutella with about 1/2 tsp peanut butter.
Bring 4 corners together, then repeat for the sides.
Shape pastry into a ball then flip, folded side down.
Lightly press the ball with your fingers to flatten just a little
Grab a sharp knife and cut the pastry into 8.
With the help of a knife, twist the petals 45 degrees, all to the same side. The filling should be visible after twisting.
Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15 minutes or until pastry is golden.
Remove from oven and allow to cool before serving. Dust icing sugar - optional.
