How to make the layers on this cinnamon swirl bread
There are a couple different ways to make a cinnamon swirl bread. However, if you are not an expert baking with yeast, then this method is the easiest and most fail proof.
We are working with a dough that’s very similar to a cinnamon roll dough. Buttery and elastic, it rises beautifully. It’s also super easy to roll out.
Once the dough is rolled out you spread some melted butter on top and finally sprinkle it with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut out some layers and start folding them in a prepared baking pan.
Then just let it rise for around 30 minutes or until it looks puffy and bake it!
The butter and cinnamon sugar will keep the layers puffy and slightly crispy, kind of like a croissant.
How to store cinnamon swirl bread
The best thing about this cinnamon swirl loaf? Thanks to the buttery filling this bread keeps fresh for around 4 days. If you want it to be just like ready made you can pop it in the oven for around 7 minutes before serving it. Or just quickly warm it up in the microwave for a few second!
