Apart from the classic coffee variety, there are many tiramisu varieties, and this raspberry tiramisu is an alcohol-free spin with a summery touch, keeping the same mascarpone filling as the classic tiramisu! It’s the perfect summery dessert for everyone, even children. This no bake tiramisu is fresh, light and creamy and all the family will absolutely love it!
Raspberries are amazing summer fruits that can be used in a great variety of recipes for sweets and drinks, and are one of almost everyone’s favorites, along with bananas, strawberries and cherries. And even when raspberries are out of season, you can still make this delicious tiramisu, using raspberry syrup as I did in this recipe.
This raspberry tiramisu recipe is very easy to make and takes so little time, it’s hardly a challenge even for beginners! Actually, it’s ready in about 20 minutes, allowing you to enjoy it for the rest of the afternoon on your porch or by the pool in summer or cuddled on your cozy couch with a warm blanket in cold seasons.

Recipe variations
This delicious raspberry tiramisu recipe can also be made with other fruits you love. You can also use a berry mix to spice this recipe up a bit and enjoy a full berry flavor.
For an adult only version, sprinkle some alcohol in the syrup. In this case, make sure children won’t be having it, as we all know alcohol intake is not safe or healthy for kids. If you want to make the same dessert for the whole family and still enjoy a bit of alcohol on top, just split the cake and add the alcohol only to the side served to adults.
Frequently asked questions
Can you make this recipe for a small crowd?
If you don’t have many fruits or don’t feel like making a large batch, just divide the ingredients and make a few portions that you can get ready in no-time and enjoy on the spot. This is a great advantage when you only need a small cheat from your diet and don’t have the willpower to avoid eating more when you know there is a large tiramisu waiting in the fridge. You can even make this recipe in individual portions, in a glass or ice cream cup.
How do you keep raspberries fresh for longer?
Raspberries are very delicate and have very short shelf life, so it is always better to eat them immediately after bringing them home. In case you didn’t plan on using them or you don’t have time to make something out of raspberries the same day, here are some tips to store raspberries so that they don’t spoil that quickly:
- Keep them in a place with very good air flow and avoid airtight or closed containers;
- Place a piece of paper towel on the container bottom and change it every day;
- Check daily for spoiled fruits and remove them immediately;
- Don’t store raspberries in the vegetable drawer;
- Only wash them when you are about to eat them, never in advance;
- If you plan on freezing them, wash and pat dry, then first freeze your raspberries separately on a tray so that they can’t touch one another. After freezing, move them into an airtight container.
The freezing tip goes great with any type of berry and you can constantly add more berries to the container as the season goes on. Frozen raspberries won’t be the same as fresh ones, though, and this raspberry tiramisu recipe is at its best with fresh fruit, but this doesn’t mean you can’t use them if you’re craving for a tasty, fruity tiramisu in the middle of the winter.
